A Day At The Beach

OMG springs to mind

Well, today is the last Bank Holiday of the year so I thought, against my better judgment, we would go to Blackpool for the day! Don’t get excited by the main pic, as, although that is Blackpool Beach, it is not what it normally looks like in the Summer!

People come from all over the Country on tours just to see these lights. They look amazing I have to say!

A Bank Holiday is so named as the Banks and such are closed on that day. The shops are generally open but on reduced hours, but the last thing we will want is shops today, apart from gift shops, ice cream parlours, etc.

Anyway, I do hope the weather will be kind to us and we can all have some fun. I have never been to Blackpool, to be honest, it would be my worse nightmare, but I wouldn't mind seeing the famous lights.

We are going to be a silly day tourist, wear kiss me quick hats, I have even got a special one for Kieran, paddle in the sea, eat ice cream and fish and chips, buy tatty ornaments to take home, and go to the pleasure park and to Blackpool Tower to have a look at the famous ballroom. But most of all we are going to have fun.

I love candy floss

Well, we can now head back to the beach after stuffing our faces, for a paddle and a sandcastle building competition, and then off to the Pleasure Park for some good old fun of the fair.

But I had a cunning plan

But the winner was Taff by a mile.

Ok, we are off to the fair and amusements before we wend our weary way home.

I will stand and watch this part of the day !

Anyway, pack your towels, sun tan cream, and anything thing else you may need, and wear comfy shoes, cos we are going to fill the day with fun fun fun.
