Classic Cars
We all have cars nowadays, but what sort of car? I just love classic cars. A classic car is a car over 20 years of age and of historical interest, so as to be collectable and worth restoring rather than scrapping.
Post WWII, classic cars are not exactly defined and we use the term to cover any older vehicle.
Today's cars are boring and gone are the days when you could tell what a car was by looking at it. They are all the same nowadays really. Even things like BMW don't stand out like they used to.
I loved the old Jags and Rovers, but again, sadly, they aren't as nice to look at as they used to be.
The list of classic cars is never ending, and there are all the classic racing cars.
If I had a lot of money, I wouldn't buy a brand new car these days. I would go for a classic car cos they have character and look like a car should.
Ok what's your favourite car?
Do you prefer old or brand new?
Let us have your thoughts and any memories you may have of cars past and present.
Two things to remember though . . .
