Getting Away From It All At The Corner Café
Have had some fun holidays in a tent like this!
Believe it or not, Summer is on its way, and our thoughts turn to holidays, or travel. So many places that are accessible nowadays which when I was younger cost a small fortune to go to.
I know unfortunately we can’t go on holiday at the moment, but, if you could, where would you go? Your home country or abroad is the first decision to make.
Then is it a camping holiday or a hotel?
No, thanks, to me that is a nightmare but i’m sure some would love it
Then there is the choice of boats or caravans, I used to love a boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads or canals. There are cruise ships, which again would be my worse nightmare, or a caravan abroad, now that has possibilities, depending on where it is.
This looks lovely and all the freedom you want to do as you want when you want.
Or if you feel adventurous!
I always think of a cruise ship as Butlins on Water, at such and such a time you can do this and at such and such a time you can have dinner!!
Personally, these seem a better idea, cos you can just lock the door, get in the car and go somewhere for the day!
These are very popular, but you have to put everything away before you can go anywhere. No such thing as a spur of the moment trip.
There are other options such as holiday chalets, beach huts etc. etc. It’s all a matter of personal choice. My own choice if I went abroad would be to go to India and go round their street markets. The food is amazing.
But whatever your choice, please let us know what you would do and where you would go for a holiday of a lifetime.
All this talk of holidays has made me want to go on one. So my bags are packed and i’m ready to go as the song goes! I wished !!
