Well, what can I say about these two great cartoon people?
They are 92 years old today, and they both hit the screens in 1928 in Steamboat Willie.

Minnie was created as Mickey's girlfriend, but she was also friends with Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow.

These characters have dominated our lives and they remind us of the magic of childhood, when we thought we could dream and make everything possible.

Five little known facts about Mickey Mouse

1. He has a middle name - it’s Michael Theodore Mouse.

2. He wears white gloves so his hands can be distinguished from his body.

3. Most Presidents have had their pic taken with him apart from Lyndon Johnson.

4. He was the first cartoon character to speak and he uttered the words "Hot Dogs".

5. He's the first cartoon character to earn a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

How can we celebrate this great day for these great characters?
We could join them in their celebrations by buying one of their watches, watching one of their films, or even better have a Mickey Mouse themed party and not for the kids either. 😁
