Happy Mew Year Day For Cats.

We all know that cats think they are far far superior to us mere humans, and anything else that walks this planet, to be honest. So this day was created by Wellcat.com so our furry friends can ponder what the year will bring them: some nice noms, long naps, and plenty of excitement and no doubt a lot of mischief.

Also questions like when will the stupid dog that lives in the house realise that the cat is King?!
Will they start getting fed some posh noms out of a tin rather than the boring dried stuff?

To help celebrate their day, let's spoil them rotten. They do actually deserve it.
Or if you don't have the pleasure of owning a cat, go and adopt one, as there are thousands of cats euthanised while waiting for their forever home, through no fault of their own. You are welcoming in a new year and hopefully it will be better, so let's make it better for them as well!!

This is so true, we can all make a difference to at least one small life and it certainly pulls at your heartstrings when you see them in shelters through no fault of their own, or stray cats running around the road starving. Thank goodness for the kind people who do go and feed the poor little things.

Cats do have a purpose around the house, despite what some people think. They are great pest controllers and will keep your home mouse and rat free.

They are great fun and are a mixture of playfulness and silliness. They chase shadows and lights, they love a cuddle - on their terms of course -and they are very graceful creatures. They are also very clean animals, grooming non stop, and they do like a brushing from their humans as well.

Good old Grumpy Cat.

I am not sure what sort of resolutions you have made, and they may get broken, but adopting a cat is something you will never regret.

Anyway, if you don't want to go down that road, let's just spoil them more than usual and give them a big hug and say thank you for being there, cos they are in good and bad times.

You could also put a bit of food down outside in your garden for any cold hungry stray and some water, especially at this time of year. Believe me they will find it. I dread to think who visits our cats’ greenhouse every night but all are welcome.

I think all that is left to say is that the cats wish you a Happy New Year, and we likewise wish them the same.

All are welcome. And please feel free to share all discussions you enjoy.
