Let's Go And Wake Up Santa

This sort of idea anyway lol

Well, this is the first of the Christmas themed threads for December.  Christmas is almost upon us, and to me it's the most magical time of the year.
I love it, and I still get excited Christmas Eve when the pressies go round the tree and see them piled high.

Christmas is what you make it and it can't be delivered, as I'm sure most of you know from the episode in The Good Life where Harrods couldn't deliver Christmas to Barbara and Tom's snobby neighbours.
You don't have to spend a fortune. We don't, but we buy pressies for each other and the dogs, eat well, but don't go mad and enjoy ourselves.  It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, everybody can enjoy Christmas if they want to.

For our first theme we are going to wake Santa up. Well, he better get a move on and get those pressies sorted and made.

We are going to Lapland and we will be meeting Santa himself.  We will go searching by snowmobile into the forest to find his cabin and wake him up. We will be watched by the elves and you will see the lanterns as we get nearer and they will come and greet us as it is only them that know the path to Santa's cabin.

Lazy blooming elves!!

And here is the great man himself. Come on Santa time to wake up. !!

There are all sorts of activities to do like helping Santa in his workshop.  Feeding the reindeer and generally getting Santa ready for his long trip around the world on Christmas Eve. You may even get to see his sleigh he rides on.

The concentration on his face.

I hope you all have a good one!!

Santa is hard at it now. Got a lot to get done by Christmas Eve!

You can also visit Santa's village which is just a winter wonderland and there is a theme park there as well.

Looks lovely all lit up!!

Just as I would imagine it to be.

And of course Santa himself!!

I do hope you enjoy your trip, and btw if anybody wants to treat their Mini Mod, I would love to go and wake Santa up. Yes I know it's for kids, rubbish !!!!!  What do kids know about it?!

Thanks to Kieran for the main pic as well which created the sort of atmosphere I wanted.

All are welcome. And please feel free to share all discussions you enjoy.
