When we talk about fondues we usually think of fondue parties with people around a table dipping all sorts of bread and meats into a fondue dish full of melted cheese. But hang on, there is an even better one. What could be more delicious than a chocolate fondue party?!

Well, today is Chocolate Fondue Day, a whole day of guilt and indulgence.

A fondue is a dish which is heated from below in which small pieces of food are dipped into thick melted cheese, which used to be bread and/or meats. Now there is chocolate, a heaven for all those people that love chocolate.

There are restaurants all over the world advertising fondues, and if you have one near you, drop in today to celebrate Chocolate Fondue Day. Most of them have chocolate fountains, which are exactly the same thing but bigger!! If you are lucky enough to own a small chocolate fountain or a fondue set, find some delicious recipes, which are all available online, and have a few friends over and let your imagination take over. Fruit, marshmallows, bread, or snacks can all be dunked in chocolate and indulged in. The world is your oyster and is limited only by your imagination.
