What Do We Think Of Stripes?
Stripes refer to a pattern of lines that are different in colour. There are horizontal and vertical stripes and they are used for many things.
Can you imagine having this on your walls. Would make your eyes go funny
Of course, the striped scarf!
Stripes are used a lot in clothes, and they don’t always flatter people . A good guide is vertical stripes give length while horizontal stripes give width, so if you are over weight stay clear of horizontal ones.
I’m sure most remember these old fashioned tops.
Stripes are very popular in home furnishings.
I would hate this, it makes your eyes go funny
Stripes are again very prevalent in the animal kingdom
We all recognise a Zebra.
Lovely little Honey Bees!
Striped Bass.
And of course Military Insignia.
Barbers Pole.
And of course flags, which I’m sure you will recognise
