Breakfast Time at The Corner Café

Some breakfast choices. Few of those really appeal to me, I have to say.

One of the few cereals I actually like.

Ok, it’s time for breakfast.  What do you have for breakfast? Do you have the same thing day after day or do you vary it?

This is more my cup of tea, but obviously not everyone’s.

Are you somebody that likes a cooked breakfast every day, or somebody that eats cereal?

That would be once in a blue moon for me. Years ago, when we went on boating holidays, I would eat one then, but it was mid morning. I couldn’t eat anything like that when I first got up.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I have to admit from when I was about 12 years of age, I gave up breakfast.  I hate eating when I first get up.  When I worked, my breakfast was a cup of coffee and a ciggie and that was fine.  I do have two slices of toast and butter now though and that is shared with the dogs!!   Yum Yum, they say !! Or porridge with fruit, which they also like.

Needs more butter, says Taff the dog !!

Looks good, and you can vary the fruit as well. Frozen fruit works well if defrosted.

Here are some examples of breakfasts healthy and unhealthy so let us know what you have each day and your favourite drink to go with it. 

Muesli with fruit.

Croissant and coffee. The trouble is you have to heat them in the oven and not worth putting the oven on for a few mins.
