Sep 17 International Country Music Day

Welcome to our first daily thread. These will be done when we can't fit in a proper thread for a special day.
They will run alongside the main thread, as do the birthday and other celebratory ones, but for the set day, we will use the special thread for that day only, and then they will be closed.
But a featured post will give information and a link to follow after the day thread is closed.

This first day thread is International Country Music Day. I'm not sure how many of you like country music. I personally do.
Anyway, we will post some country music and have some fun with all things to do with country music.

It is one of the most popular types of music in the world and originated in the USA.

This day was first started on 17th September 1950, and lovers of country music gather all round the world at various venues to enjoy themselves by dancing, drinking and generally having fun.
Which is what we shall do!!
