Whether you read your horoscope on a regular basis or just think astrology is meaningless fun, a star sign is something we all have.
So, today, we are going to take an amusing look at what our own signs may or may not say about us.
Born leaders, they are confident, determined and enthusiastic about everything they do.
A short fuse, though, means they will soon give you an unstinting kick up the bum if needed!
Reliable, practical and patient, they will take as long as needed to accomplish something.
A stubborn side means they dislike sudden change and like to stick to what they know!
Loyal, outgoing and affectionate, they make great friends.
But, having two sides to their personality, they can be indecisive and inconsistent. They dislike routine or repetition and when faced with that, they will soon plough their own furrow!
Loyal and sympathetic, they are the best of friends to have, especially in hard times.
But they have a moody, selfish, impatient streak that means they can play the prima donna!
Born actors, they are creative and funny, and passionate about all that they do.
But this love of the limelight can make them demanding, and the one thing they absolutely hate is being ignored!
Virgos have an OCD side to them, which makes them very well-organised and analytical.
But this desire to always do their best can lead to them being overly self-critical and then they can push themselves too hard!
The born peacemakers, they love to have people around them and to do the best to make things good for everyone.
This selfless side can leave them open to abuse by less fair-minded individuals!

But now some say there should actually be a thirteenth star sign - Ophiuchus, the snake bearer - the constellation of which the sun spends a fair bit of time between Scorpio and Sagittarius. Their personality traits also sit between those two star signs, so that makes them passionate, flamboyant, intellectual, but also jealous, secretive, arrogant and having a fiery temper - not to be trifled with!!
In that alternative zodiac world, Scorpio becomes extremely short in time - just a few days - and that shift in the other signs to accommodate Ophiuchus and show more accurately how long the sun spends in each constellation would move me from Aries to just into Pisces!!
