Talk Like Yoda We Must
We have all heard of Yoda and he plays a great part in the Star Wars Films. He was created by George Lucas and is known as the oldest and wisest and most powerful Jedi in the Star Wars Universe. He first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back and has since then appeared in over 50 films and tv shows. Sadly, he died in Return of the Jedi, but there is a young Yoda around in the later ones.
Talk Like Yoda Day is a chance for his fans to celebrate the day we first met this wise little green guy. He is probably one of the most memorable movie characters in history, not just for the wise things he says but the way he says them. It all adds to making him an iconic character. His language is known as Yodish, and not many characters can say they have their own language.
To celebrate the day why not sit and watch the Star Wars movies or you could dress like Yoda and practice the way he speaks and have some fun with it. Or have a Yoda themed party.
He spoke some very wise words.
As we all have.
However you spend it, have some fun with this loveable character and learn his language, fun you will have. !!
